# tominecon.7z 02-28-2023 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmlphRQl4Pk There was an encrypted file posted to minecrafts s3 bucket they used to host installers for the game in 2012. The password has finally been cracked and I watched a video where they didn't share the password. Troll behaviour and really annoying. Google brought me to a reddit page where a guy used the kaonashiWPA100M wordlist of 16 character passwords and found the password was `thespicemustflow`. https://www.reddit.com/r/codes/comments/11d6q0w/regarding_tominecon7z/ The original archive is on https://archive.org/details/assets.minecraft.net-2013-11-13 And I confirmed it can be extracted with that password. There's also a 54.9mB data file, not sure what that's about. There's probably more to the mystery there. Weird rabbit hole for certain. I'm sharing this password so future people can hopefully find it instead of it getting lost to time on reddit. # 6-15-2024 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JV44GUMF9QM The file was replaced with a decoy. Original: [E37DB9C9AF23577974200276678C5E465E26C44B](https://buu.sh/u/tominecon.7z) Decoy: 982E210E08427B1A35540945482F7111D93F60F1 The original file had the newly cracked password `boxpig41` and was the same password used by info@mojang.org/wifi in 2011. It's a compiled build of minecraft 1.0.0 with a slight bug that breaks multiplayer.
